Located in eastern Nebraska I am dedicated to raising Painted Desert Sheep
At Full Curl Trophy Sheep I feel the key to raising top quality Painted Desert Sheep is to start with great genetics, and this is why I concentrate on sheep registered with the Painted Desert Sheep Society. While many look at the huge horns on the rams I feel the genetics from the ewes are just as important, and with that in mind the majority of my ewes are daughters of Gold Star Rams. If you're going to have a ram with great genetics, you might as well breed him to a ewe with great genetics too.
But it's not just about the horns. While I strive for trophy horns I also want to see flashy color, and a sheep with a good disposition that will be easy to work with.

Sheep Record books
Working through Kindle Direct Publishing and Amazon I designed a sheep record book. The book was designed to track worming, vaccinations, and breeding information. This book worked well when I started, but when I moved to registered Painted Desert Sheep, I could see the book might be lacking in space to give good detailed breeding information needed when tracking individual registered animals. So I designed a second book that allowed for much more detailed breeding information.
The book on the left is a 40 page book that is designed with one page each for 30 sheep, a gestation table, and extra pages for additional notes. The book sells for $5.99 with free shipping for Amazon Prime members.
The book in the middle is a 200 page book also designed for 30 ewes, with an additional 10 pages at the back for rams. All are set up the same to track worming, vaccinations and general health records. But the 200 page book has a far more extensive section to track breeding information. This book sells for $8.99 with free shipping for Amazon Prime members.
The book on the right is a 50 page breeding book. Here you can list all of the ewes bred to each ram each year. This will give you all of your breeding information in one place where you will be able to go back many years to check on breeding records. This book sells for $6.99 with free shipping for Amazon Prime members.
The Amazon link under either book will open their Amazon sales page where the book may be ordered.
